There is no standard rate for nude modeling, however here are some guidelines.
Up until around 2008, the average pay for a commercial nude modeling shoot in Los Angeles, CA was $500 for the day. That normally meant a full day with photos and some video being shot.
Not withstanding the economy which has since changed everything (by decreasing rates), there are many variables.
Recognize that all companies pay differently. Rates vary greatly between individuals, companies, types of shoots and the models being shot.
As a model, you can’t expect to get “your rate” wherever you go. I never heard of a model telling Penthouse or Hustler Magazine what they were going to pay her. Most established companies have their rates pretty much set in stone. Sure there are instances where a company may want to shoot a particular model and offer her more money or offer her a contract, but that is not the everyday reality of the business. So in the world of commercial nude modeling you should expect to be offered different rates for different jobs.
Other variables might include whether you are doing figure, art, non-explicit, explicit, web cam, TFP (Time for Prints) or if you are doing adult work beyond just nudity (girl-girl or boy-girl work).
Also relationships are important in any business and if you have a great photographer or company that you want to work with or maybe they can provide you with multiple shoots or additional work, you may want to be flexible on your rates.
I think its important to look around, inquire and see who’s paying what? Figure out what your worth and what you’re willing to do. It’s up to you.
